Community Halls

This function provides for the maintenance of Community Halls  through the support of Hall Committees throughout the Waitomo District. There are currently 11 Council owned rural halls, plus a community hall at Piopio.

Community Halls benefit the whole of the Waitomo District Community as any member of the public can use (hire) the hall facility directly or as guests at the wide range of private and community functions hosted from time to time. The halls can also serve as an ideal place for meetings where other options  are unavailable.
