Annual Report
Council is required to prepare an Annual Report by Section 98 of the Local Government Act 2002. The purpose of the Annual Report is to report the results for the year's operations in comparison to the Annual Plan for that year. Objectives, targets and budgets in the Annual Plan were set in consultation with the Waitomo District Community.
The Annual Report seeks to communicate to the residents and ratepayers of the District the financial and non-financial performance of the Council for the year ended 30th June and the financial position of the Council as at that date. The Annual Report is presented to the residents and ratepayers after first being audited by Council Auditors and then being formally adopted by the Council.
