Covid 19 drinking water advice for community facilities/businesses

Due to the lockdown, a number of community facilities/businesses may not have been occupied for a number of weeks. When you return following lifting of Covid 19 restrictions, the quality of drinking water sitting in pipes may have deteriorated over time and not be up to the usual safe standard. The Ministry of Health recommends to flush all of your taps/faucets so that the water is clear or appears normal.

We are still at Alert Level 4, and the Alert Level 4 restrictions are still in place. New Zealand will be at COVID-19 Alert Level 3 from Tuesday 28 April.
