We are at the hands of police investigators and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Update as at midday, Tuesday 9 September.
Police have extended their cordon as far as the Marokopa/Taharoa intersection and will be in place for an unknown period. This will affect access to Piripiri School.

Council open hours for Tuesday 16 September

The WDC Customer Services and Visitor Hub, Library and Admin Building will be closed on Tuesday 16 September 2025 until 11am.
