Water Services

At Waitomo District Council, we’re transferring our water and wastewater services to the new Council Controlled Organisation, Waikato Waters on 1 July 2026.

  • For the first year nothing will change in how you pay for water as part of your rates.

  • You will still contact our Council for water related queries and services requests

  • Communications about water services will still come from Council

This is to ensure the transition to is smooth.

Visit the website Waikato Waters for up-to-date information going forward.
