Inframax Construction Ltd has been awarded the contract to undertake slip repairs on a section of Te Anga Road and Mangaotaki Road in response to the 2025 July Storm event in the Waitomo District.

Construction includes fixing a slump with reinforced timber poles to provide support from further subsidence, as well as repairing the pavement (road surface) and upgrading drainage.

Work begins this month and is expected to be completed between April and May.

The site crew will do their best to accommodate residents and road user needs to move through the sites, however, due to the nature of the work, please expect some delays when passing through the site.

Inframax will undertake a letter drop to affected residents with more detail.

We ask for your patience and understanding while we undertake these works to restore full access for the residents and road users on Te Anga and Mangaotaki Roads.
