Leak detection in Maniaiti/Benneydale

Waitomo District Council contractor McIndoe Group are planning to carry out water leak detection in Maniaiti/Benneydale starting this Friday, 19 September 2025.

Leak detection helps identify where there could be faults in the network and can also help determine where water loss is occurring.

The leak detection investigation will occur from 8am to 5pm and although there will be a temporary interruption to water supply, it should not overly disrupt or interfere with normal usage.

We also ask that you please conserve water as much as possible.

Applications for Community Funding - DC Tynan Trust

Applications for the DC Tynan Trust funding round must be received by 5pm, Friday 21st July, 2017.

To support community organisations within the Te Kuiti Urban Ward that are involved in the delivery or support of social, cultural, educational or recreational activities.

Priority will be given to projects of a capital nature. Organisations can only apply for funding once every three years.
