Notice for closure of road/street to ordinary vehicular traffic

PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that the Waitomo District Council, for the purpose of the The Great New Zealand Muster 2017 will close the following roads/streets to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods indicated:

Date: 1 April 2017

Period of Closure: 7.00 am to 5.30 pm

Streets/Roads: Rora Street (from Ward Street to South End Loop)King Street East (from Rora Street to Taupiri Street)Sheridan Street (from Rora Street to Taupiri Street)

Alternative Route/s: Alexandra Street to Taupiri Street to Lawrence Street to Awakino Road, Carroll Street or Waitete Road.

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person otherwise than under authority to use the road/street for ordinary vehicular traffic during this period of closure.
