Auckland Anniversary Council Information

The WDC Customer Services and Visitor Hub, Waitomo District Library and Admin Building will be closed on on Monday 26 January for Auckland Anniversary. All waste transfer stations will also be closed.

Weather Watch - Heavy rain and strong wind

Metservice has issued a heavy rain watch and strong wind watch for our district. The watch is valid from 9am Wednesday, 21 January 2026 to 3am Thursday 22 January.
