Auckland Anniversary Council Information

The WDC Customer Services and Visitor Hub, Waitomo District Library and Admin Building will be closed on on Monday 26 January for Auckland Anniversary. All waste transfer stations will also be closed.
We will still be available by phone on 0800 932 4357. More info

Weather Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

Metservice has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the Waitomo District this evening. A heavy rain watch is also in place and is valid until 11pm tonight (Thursday 15 January)

Our Queen Street office is closed on Thursday 6 February 2020. For After Hours services please call 0800 932 4357.

Waitomo District Aquatic Centre is open from 1pm - 5pm.

Waitomo District Library is closed.

Te Kuiti i-SITE Visitor Information Centre is open 10am - 2pm.

Waitomo District Landfill is open from 9am - 4pm.

Kinohaku, Awakino and Marokopa Transfer Stations are closed as per normal.

Benneydale and Piopio Transfer Stations are closed as per normal.

Kerbside Refuse and Recycling Collection Services - there are no services taking place as per normal.
