ROAD BLOCK - TE ANGA ROAD
Update as at 4.30pm: Roads remain closed. 
We are unable to give a time indication as to when Te Anga, Hauturu and Waipuna Roads will open again. The roads will likely remain closed overnight and part of tomorrow (Tuesday 9 September).
We are at the hands of police investigators and appreciate your understanding.
Kerbside collection: Residents can place their recycling and kerbside rubbish bags out as usual, but we cannot guarantee they will be collected.

Council open hours for Tuesday 16 September

The WDC Customer Services and Visitor Hub, Library and Admin Building will be closed on Tuesday 16 September 2025 until 11am.
We will still be available by phone on 0800 932 4357.
