Waitomo District Council facilitates strong and sustainable partnerships to support improved outcomes for our community.

The Community and Partnerships Fund Policy sets out the funding allocation process for assistance provided through grants to community organisations. This Policy does not apply to rates remissions, lease grant, or any other type of assistance provided by WDC.

The purpose of this Policy is to provide for fair and equitable distribution of WDC funding to assist organisations who deliver services that benefit communities within the Waitomo District. It ensures funding is distributed in a consistent, efficient, and effective manner which is transparent, fair, and accountable.

This policy is applicable to the following grants:
- Multi-Year Community Partnership Grant
- Community Halls Grants
- Special Grants

The Community and Partnerships Fund aims to ensure that projects or services undertaken make a positive contribution to achieving WDC’s vision and community outcomes.
