Waitomo District Council seeks to facilitate and support strong and sustainable partnerships and to seek co-funding arrangements to support improved social outcomes for our community.

The provision of grant funding is targeted to assist 'not for profit' community organisations that undertake projects and services which significantly benefit the residents of communities within the Waitomo District. It is recognised that overtime this will contribute to the creation of a strong social base and make Waitomo District a more attractive place to live and work.

The Community and Partnerships Fund aims to ensure that projects or services undertaken make a positive contribution to achieving WDC’s community outcomes and that contribute and support the Vibrant Safe Waitomo Strategy’s strategic themes.
