Planned Water shutdown notice - Tuesday 17 February 2026
A day-long water shutdown will be happening on Tuesday 17 February from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Boddies Terrace, Wesley Terrace, Tawa Street, Matai Street, William Street and Anzac Street.  This is to allow council contractor Schick Civil to install a new watermain line. AA Agent Mystery Customer Survey

Waitomo District Councils friendly Customer Service Team always strive to provide excellent service and information to our customers.

A recent AA Agent Driver and Vehicle Licensing survey completed by a Mystery Customer has given WDC a 90% total score, an impressive result for the Team.

The survey was made up of four sections including Customer Relationship and Staff Attitude and Service, both of which WDC scored a result of 100%.

Community Services Group Manager says that it is a very good result for Council and pleasing to see that customer satisfaction is being met.
