Water Alert Level 2 - PIopio
Due to operational issues and the current hot weather, Piopio township will move into Level 2 water restriction from tomorrow - Friday 6 February 2026.
Water conservation measures are required to reduce demand on the water treatment plant. We ask Piopio residents to be mindful of their water use.
Water shutdown notice - William Street and adjoining streets
A water shutdown will be happening from 9am to 3.30pm today along William Street and adjoining streets. This is to allow council contractor Schick Civil to commission a new watermain line. Thank you for your understanding.

Tots n’ Tales for pre-schoolers

Come along to the Waitomo District Library this Thursday at 11am.

Children will have lots of fun listening to a story and taking part in action rhymes. This is a fun, free programme that provides positive movement experiences to stimulate development of both the brain and the body of young children. It also helps encourage a love of stories and language that parents can put into practice at home.
