Waitomo District Council contractor McIndoe Group are planning to carry out water leak detection in Maniaiti/Benneydale starting this Friday, 19 September 2025.
Leak detection helps identify where there could be faults in the network and can also help determine where water loss is occurring.
The leak detection investigation will occur from 8am to 5pm and although there will be a temporary interruption to water supply, it should not overly disrupt or interfere with normal usage.
We also ask that you please conserve water as much as possible.
When the weather has been nice, our amazing garden and landscaping team have been busy fencing and planting at our Landfill in Te Kūiti.
The aim is that the plantings will benefit the water quality leaving the site, as well as providing shading and improving the habitat for fish, invertebrates, and birds.
