A heads up that the bathroom and kitchen facility at the recently-closed Te Kūiti Holiday Park will be relocated to Marokopa Campground this evening. Transportation will be a wide-load so please take care if travelling in the area during this time.

The decision to close the campground on Te Kumi Road in Te Kūiti was determined by the previous triennium’s elected members in an effort to save ratepayer funds. The structure will replace the aging facilities at Marokopa.

Access to the motorhome dump station will not be affected by the works and will remain operational.

The bare land on Te Kumi Road will be repurposed.
