Waitomo District Council contractor McIndoe Group are planning to carry out water leak detection in Maniaiti/Benneydale starting this Friday, 19 September 2025.
Leak detection helps identify where there could be faults in the network and can also help determine where water loss is occurring.
The leak detection investigation will occur from 8am to 5pm and although there will be a temporary interruption to water supply, it should not overly disrupt or interfere with normal usage.
We also ask that you please conserve water as much as possible.
Work is planned to commence on the water reticulation network in Mokau, on the days below:
Monday 10th or Tuesday 11th August 2015, 8am - 5pm
Our Contractor will hand out a notice of water shutdown to affected residential property owners prior to shutdown of supply.
