This is a reminder that an arrears penalty of 10% will be added on any unpaid part of any rates assessed before 1 July 2020 that remains unpaid by 5pm, 1 January 2021.

This penalty would usually have been applied in July 2020, however due to the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this penalty has been deferred to January 2021 for this rating year to provide ratepayers with an extended time to pay.

Rates payments can be made at the Waitomo District Council office, 15 Queen Street Te Kuiti, Te Kuiti i-Site in Rora Street, over the phone, through our website by credit card, or by Internet Banking using your valuation number as reference.
