Waitomo District Council contractor McIndoe Group are planning to carry out water leak detection in Maniaiti/Benneydale starting this Friday, 19 September 2025.
Leak detection helps identify where there could be faults in the network and can also help determine where water loss is occurring.
The leak detection investigation will occur from 8am to 5pm and although there will be a temporary interruption to water supply, it should not overly disrupt or interfere with normal usage.
We also ask that you please conserve water as much as possible.
On 26 July 2022, a report pursuant to Section 10A of the Dog Control Act 1996 was adopted by Council. The report contains information and statistics on Waitomo District Council’s dog control activity for the year 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022.
