WDC Open hours for 4 December 2025

The WDC Customer Services and Visitor Hub, Waitomo District Library and Admin Building will be closed on Thursday 4 December 2025 until 2pm.

Planned Water Shutdown Notification - Mōkau
A planned water shutdown will take place in Mōkau from 9am on Wednesday 3 December 2025 so that a new watermain can be laid. Streets affected are: North Street (south of Rerenga Street), Takarei Terrace, Te Mahoe Road, Te Kauri Road, Mōkau Road. 
Estimated time of shutdown is about 4 hours. We apologise for the inconvenience
