The Brook Park Committee is holding a working bee on Sunday 3 October.

The committee welcomes any support from anyone who would like to come along and help at the working bee.

Bring a spade, grubber, secateurs, saw, hard bristle broom, hammer, gloves or anything that you think may be useful.

Some areas for working on include:

• The Rododendron Dell - to clear areas for planting, start forming a path, planting and perhaps building a style.
• Clearing the Disc Golf Tees of debris
• Walking the Mountain Bike track to make sure it is clear
• Pulling invasive seedlings from the Somerville Grove
