ROAD CLOSURES - Mangarino Road and Gadsby Road
  • Mangarino Road is currently closed due to a slip from the recent heavy rain. The location of this is just past the Te Kūiti Cemetery and Reynolds Road.
  • We have been informed that a fully loaded milk tanker has slid off the road on Gadsby Road, and the road could be closed for some time to allow the milk tanker to be lifted back onto the road.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

Te Kuiti Breast Screening

Wednesday 08 September 2021 09:00 am

The breast screening visit to Te Kuiti will go ahead as scheduled, starting next Wednesday, 8 September.

Following strict national Covid guidelines, important safeguards will be in place to ensure the ongoing safety of all participants and staff.

If you have any pre-existing medical conditions that means you are at risk of COVID-19, please call us on 0800 270 200 and we will make alternative arrangements for you at a later date, as it is better you stay home at this time.

When you call to book your mammogram our team at BreastScreen Midland will ask health questions to check whether you have any medical or long term conditions deemed a risk during any level for COVID-19.

Masks must be worn to, and during, appointments.  If you arrive without a mask, our team will provide one for you.

Our team is now calling those who had appointments booked during lockdown to schedule another suitable time.  However, feel free to call 0800 270 200 to make your new appointment.

If you have any questions, or have received a letter from us inviting you to have your free two-yearly mammogram, call 0800 270 200 now!
