WDC would like to advise that road works are currently underway on Waitomo Caves Road. The works involve laying drainage from Waitomo Village to the Waitomo Caves building.

Further work on the same segment of Waitomo Caves Road will commence in July. The work involves milling of the road surface, making it level and then laying down new pavement. Traffic will be delayed at times, please consider this when planning your travel arrangements.
