Water shutdown due to leak

We have identified a leak on Rata Street and will need to shutdown the water supply to this area so that it can be fixed. Affected roads are: Mahoe Street, Sections of Mangarino Road and the top end of Rata Street. Thank you for your understanding.

Work planned for Benneydale sewerage reticulation network

Waitomo District Council will carry out cleaning work on the main sewerage reticulation network in the Benneydale township next week. This will involve the use of CCTV work inside the pipework areas to determine the need for any replacements and repair work.

The work will also remove any fat deposits and large objects that can potentially block the sewerage pipe system.

WDC’s contractor HydroTech will do the work.
