Karakia to raise new ANZAC flags

11 Apr 2023, 11:19 AM

Ka maumahara

tonu tātou ki a rātou

A special karakia ceremony was held on the main street of Te Kūiti this morning to bless our new ANZAC Flags as they were raised to remember our fallen heroes and returned service men and women. The flags will adorn Rora Street as well as in the main streets of Piopio and Mōkau in the lead up to ANZAC Day on Tuesday 25 April.

We will remember them.
