Planned Water shutdown notice - Tuesday 17 February 2026
A day-long water shutdown will be happening on Tuesday 17 February from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Boddies Terrace, Wesley Terrace, Tawa Street, Matai Street, William Street and Anzac Street.  This is to allow council contractor Schick Civil to install a new watermain line. Notice of Impounding and Proposed Sale of Impounded Stock - Under Section 46(2) of the Impounding Act 1955

The under mentioned stock, having been seized for impounding at 6 Edward Street is impounded at Waitomo District Council’s Stock Pound, Esplanade, Te Kuiti.

Description of Stock

  • 1 dark brown / ginger boar
  • 1 black and white sow 

Notice is hereby given that, unless claimed by the owner, the stock will be sold by public auction at Waitomo District Stock Pound, Esplanade, Te Kuiti on Tuesday 8th December 2016 at 10.00am in accordance with the Impounding Act 1955.
