Planned Water shutdown notice - Tuesday 17 February 2026
A day-long water shutdown will be happening on Tuesday 17 February from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Boddies Terrace, Wesley Terrace, Tawa Street, Matai Street, William Street and Anzac Street.  This is to allow council contractor Schick Civil to install a new watermain line. Maintenance work to Te Kuiti Shearer Statue

On Friday 10 March and Saturday 11 March 2017 the Shearer Statue and surrounding grass area will be cordoned off to the public while contractors carry out maintenance work on the statue. Please avoid the area during this time.
