Due to COVID-19 the following ANZAC Day Services are limited.  All attendees are requested to apply appropriate social distancing and are encouraged to wear masks for the duration of these events.  If you are unwell, please do not attend.

Te Kūiti Pā Dawn Service 

Members of the Public and Service Organisations are invited to attend the ANZAC Memorial Dawn Service at the Te Kūiti Pā, Awakino Road, Te Kuiti.  The itinerary for the Service will be as follows:

5.45am: Attendees will assemble at the Awakino Road Entranceway and wait to be called onto the Pā

Attendees will then move to the Memorial Monument on the Pā where the Ceremony will take place

6.00am: ANZAC Memorial Service

A light breakfast will be provided to attendees following the Service

Te Kuiti Civic Memorial Service

This is an Outdoor Service.  Members of the Public and Service Organisations are invited to attend an ANZAC Memorial Service at the Cenotaph, King Street East, Te Kuiti. 

7.00am    Parade to assemble at The Lines Company, cnr King Street East and Taupiri Streets, Te Kuiti

Service Organisations and Members of the Public who wish to join the Parade are requested to assemble behind the RSA contingent, mindful of social distancing.

7.15am    March from The Lines Company to the Cenotaph

7.30am    ANZAC Service

Piopio Civic Memorial Service

The organisers of this year’s Piopio ANZAC Day Service advise it is a limited outdoor commemorative service and will commence with unveiling the names of the fallen servicemen from the Aria District which are now inscribed on the Piopio Cenotaph.

10.50am: Assemble at the Village Green

11.00am: ANZAC Service

Please be mindful of social distancing to protect our most vulnerable. If you are unwell, please do not attend.  The Memorial Hall and facilities are unlikely to be open.

Awakino Civic Memorial Service

The organisers of this year’s Awakino ANZAC Day Service would like to invite all local Service Organisations and members of the public to join the Returned Servicemen of Awakino and the surrounding District for the 2022 ANZAC Day Memorial Service.

11.00am: ANZAC Service at the Awakino Memorial Hall, Briscoe Street, Awakino

 A light luncheon will be available to attendees following the Service
