Planned Water shutdown notice - Tuesday 17 February 2026
A day-long water shutdown will be happening on Tuesday 17 February from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Boddies Terrace, Wesley Terrace, Tawa Street, Matai Street, William Street and Anzac Street.  This is to allow council contractor Schick Civil to install a new watermain line. Hydrant Flushing in Mokau 15 February 2023

We’ll be undertaking hydrant flushing in Mōkau on Wednesday 15 February 2023.
Affected streets are:
Oha Street
Tainui Street
Aria Terrace
Rangi St
Rerenga St
SH3
During this time, we’ll make every effort to minimise the impact on supply.
Please – flush your house water by opening your taps and run for about 2-5 minutes. This will remove the suspended solids created during water flushing.
