Our Building Services teams across Waitomo and Ōtorohanga District Councils are currently experiencing significant resourcing constraints. 

This means some of our usual services may take longer than normal, including processing applications, responding to enquiries, completing work and providing inspection availability. 

We understand that delays can be frustrating, particularly when you are planning or progressing a building project. Our teams are continuing to work through the current workload and will prioritise critical, statutory and time-sensitive matters wherever possible. 

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work through these resourcing challenges.
