The WDC Customer Services and Visitor Hub, Waitomo District Library and Admin Building will be closed on on Friday 6 February for Waitangi Day. All waste transfer stations will also be closed.

Water Alert Level 2 - PIopio
Due to operational issues and the current hot weather, Piopio township will move into Level 2 water restriction from tomorrow - Friday 6 February 2026.
Water conservation measures are required to reduce demand on the water treatment plant. We ask Piopio residents to be mindful of their water use.

In this  course you will gain knowledge and confidence with online banking. No personal financial information is required to participate.

  • This session will help you understand banking online

  • Recognise online scams and how to protect yourself

  • Navigate through online banking platform and how to get started with your bank.
