Planned Water shutdown notice - Tuesday 17 February 2026
A day-long water shutdown will be happening on Tuesday 17 February from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Boddies Terrace, Wesley Terrace, Tawa Street, Matai Street, William Street and Anzac Street.  This is to allow council contractor Schick Civil to install a new watermain line. Stepping Up Computer Course: Using Email

Waitomo District Library, along with Stepping Up, is providing a series of free computer classes.

This course covers how to use your email and includes:

  • Sending, receiving, replying and forwarding emails
  • Sending, receiving and saving an attachment
  • Creating folders for groups
  • Recognising SPAM and other potentially harmful email

Participants must already have an email account or have attended the Stepping UP Email 1 (Setting up and email account) class.
