Leak detection in Maniaiti/Benneydale

Waitomo District Council contractor McIndoe Group are planning to carry out water leak detection in Maniaiti/Benneydale starting this Friday, 19 September 2025.

Leak detection helps identify where there could be faults in the network and can also help determine where water loss is occurring.

The leak detection investigation will occur from 8am to 5pm and although there will be a temporary interruption to water supply, it should not overly disrupt or interfere with normal usage.

Maru is partnering with LED by Ecobulb to host an event to help local homes save on their power bill. Hosted at the Les Munro Centre in Te KÅ«iti, the event will span two days, starting Friday 18 February and finishing Saturday 19 February, 9am-5pm.
The event will be conducted under the Red COVID Traffic Light level. This means that masks, vaccine passes, and scanning in is required.
