Redesigned to accommodate both local needs and to provide a directory of information for tourists and travellers. The new site aims to support local businesses and organisations, whilst promoting Piopio as a destination.

A key feature is the community events calendar. The online calendar will feature local events and fundraisers and the pair hope for all groups to use the site to both promote and to help plan functions.

Other sections will feature the community’s history, employment opportunities, community news and local clubs and organisation contacts, including a vast selection of quiet native bush walks, to the more adventurous mountain bike rides or Lama trekking.

An abundance of accommodation choices are available throughout the district to suit the needs of all visitors, Camping, Farm Stays, Motel or Bed and Breakfast.
