Holiday Fun at Waitomo District Library

Children aged 5-12 years old are invited to join in our free Winter Warmers readingHoliday fun at Waitomo District Library programme. Children visit the library during the school holidays, talk about what they have been reading and earn great rewards. The Library is open Mon-Fri 10am to 5pm and Saturday 9.30am to 12.30pm.

 


 

Council supports the Starship Mobile Phone Appeal

Now’s a great time to find a better use for that old mobile phone – drop it off atStarship Logo Waitomo District Council (during July), raise funds for their National Air Ambulance Service, while helping preserve our environment.

Regardless of condition (working or non-working), make or model all mobile phones are accepted by the Starship Mobile Phone Appeal. 

 


 

Dog Registration Fees are now due

Fees for the 2015/16 dog registration year are now due to be paid at the WDC office, Queen Street Te Kuiti or by posting the registration forms and fees to Waitomo District Council, PO Box 404, Te Kuiti 3941. 

A late registration fee will be payable in respect of dogs required to be but whichWaitomo District Animal Control remain unregistered on or after the 1 August 2015. Dog owners who are new residents of the Waitomo District are required to contact Waitomo District Council on 0800 932 4357.
