A significant slip has occured at the entry to the Te Kauri walking track which is located at the southern end of Mokau Village.

Please take care when you are in this area.

The slip area has been cordoned off by Broadspectrum and we have installed railings in the area.  Caution signs will be installed shortly.   

WDC have engaged BCD Group Ltd  (Engineering, Planning & Geotechnical Consultants) to undertake an assessment of all the walking tracks in Mokau.
