Auckland Anniversary Council Information

The WDC Customer Services and Visitor Hub, Waitomo District Library and Admin Building will be closed on on Monday 26 January for Auckland Anniversary. All waste transfer stations will also be closed.

Fire Permits and Fire Restrictions

Waitomo District Council no longer issues fire permits. Visit the Fire Emergency NZ website checkitsalright.nz

Fire Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) now set fire seasons, issue fire permits and deal with the removal of fire hazards, including vegetation.
