Affected areas include a section King Street West, Tawhana Street and a small part of Queen Street in Te Kūiti. The reason is to replace a water valve. Thank you for your understanding.

Waitomo District Councillor Resigns

Urban Ward Councillor Terry Davey has officially resigned from Waitomo District Council after six years’ service for the Waitomo District.

Mr Davey tendered his resignation on Thursday 23 May 2019.

Council has resolved not to fill the vacancy of an elected member following the resignation of elected member Terry Davey. 

We would like to thank Mr Davey for his contribution and service to this Council and the Waitomo District community during his last two terms, and I wish him all the very best in his new venture.
