New building consent system is live

12 Feb 2020, 11:54 AM

Waitomo District Council's new building consent system, Alpha, is now live.

Alpha, which went live on Wednesday 12 February 2020 will allow you to submit and track your building projects, including consents, certificates of acceptance, exemptions and code compliance certificates.

It will be used for all building consent applications in the Waitomo District.

If you have a paper based application to submit from 12th February, and are unsure how to submit electronically, the building compliance team will be able to provide guidance and assistance over the phone or at our office.

Those with an existing building consent underway will continue to have their consent processed using the current paper-based system until it is complete.

For more information please phone the building compliance team on 0800 932 4357.
