Construction works are due to commence along a section of Mangaotaki Road in Piopio next week.Works include drainage improvements and rebuilding the road pavement with geogrid stabilised pavement layering.

Works are likely to take about two months, weather permitting.

This site is currently under temporary traffic management (a priority give way system), and during construction, a combination of priority give way and manual stop/go or temporary traffic signals will be in place.
