The Waitomo District Aquatic Centre will be open to the public from Tuesday 1 October.

However, due to the gas line being vandalised at the pool complex, the main pool will be cold for the first few days.

A full repair is scheduled for tomorrow, and this won’t affect opening day, but it will take a few days for the pool to fully heat up.
