Wastewater network inspections in Piopio and Maniaiti/Benneydale
Council contractors are currently in Maniaiti/Benneydale and Piopio townships inspecting sewer systems and drains as part of a project to identify potential risks to the network. As part of the inspections, staff may undertake visual checks on private stormwater and wastewater outlets including gully traps and downpipes.

Forecast: Periods of heavy rain, with localised downpours possible. Amounts may approach warning criteria. Moderate chance of upgrading to a Warning. Stay safe and drive to the conditions.
