Water Alert Level 2 - PIopio
Due to operational issues and the current hot weather, Piopio township is in Level 2 water restriction.
Water conservation measures are required to reduce demand on the water treatment plant. We ask Piopio residents to be mindful of their water use.

Local Easter Sunday Shop Trading Policy

Waitomo District Council is proposing to adopt a Local Easter Sunday Shop Trading Policy.  The purpose of this policy is to enable shops to trade on Easter Sunday if they wish to.

The draft policy is open for consultation from Wednesday 7 December 2016 to Friday 27 January 2017.
