COUNCIL MEETING - Thursday 6 October 2016

The last Council meeting prior to the 2016 Triennial Elections is scheduled for Thursday 6 October 2016 at 9.00am in the Council Chambers, Queen Street, Te Kuiti.

An invitation is extended to members of the public to attend this meeting for observation purposes.  Any member(s) of the public wishing to speak at a Council meeting are required to gain approval from the Mayor at least two working days prior to the meeting.

A copy of the agenda will be available on Council’s Website two working days before the meeting.


 

Notice of Impounding and Proposed Sale of Impounded Stock Under Section 46(2) of the Impounding Act 1955

The under mentioned stock, having been seized for impounding at Manganui Road, Awakino is impounded at Waitomo District Council’s Stock Pound, Esplanade, Te Kuiti.

Description of Stock

1 ewe lamb Notice is hereby given that, unless claimed by the owner, the stock will be sold by public auction at Waitomo District Stock Pound, Esplanade, Te Kuiti on Tuesday 4th October 2016 at 10.00am in accordance with the Impounding Act 1955.

NOTICE OF MEETING 

Piopio Wastewater Treatment Plant Community Liaison Group

Tuesday 4 October 2016 at 5.00pm

Pursuant to an Order of Court and approved Conditions of Consent for Discharge Permit 117290 dated 17 February 2011, the Waitomo District Council wishes to invite interested parties to attend the annual meeting of the Piopio Wastewater Treatment Plant Community Liaison Group.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide feedback and comment on environmental issues relating to the operation of the Piopio Wastewater Treatment Plant. 

This meeting will be convened on Tuesday 4 October 2016 at the Piopio Hall, on the corner of Moa Street (State Highway 3) and Weka Street, Piopio commencing at 5.00pm.
