Planned Water shutdown notice - Tuesday 17 February 2026

A day-long water shutdown will be happening on Tuesday 17 February from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Boddies Terrace, Wesley Terrace, Tawa Street, Matai Street, William Street and Anzac Street. This is to allow council contractor Schick Civil to install a new watermain line. Thank you for your understanding.

Mokau Residents - Please conserve water

***UPDATE*** We now have 45% water supply in our Mokau reservoir and normal service in terms of pressure and flow.

MOKAU RESIDENTS || We are currently experiencing water issues in Mokau, where the reservoir level is low, resulting in a drop off in water pressure.

Council staff are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. In the meantime, please conserve water.
