A heavy rain watch has been issued for our district. The watch is valid until 6pm Friday 27 March. 
Periods of heavy rain. Amounts may exceed warning criteria in localised areas, especially ranges. Moderate chance of upgrading to a Warning. 
Take some time now to get prepared in case the weather gets worse. Stay safe, drive safely and take care while out and about.

Council adopts 10 Year Plan 2021-2031

Waitomo District Council adopted its 10 Year Plan 2021-31 on 29 June 2021.
The 10 Year Plan is now available on our website www.waitomo.govt.nz You are welcome to view the 10 Year Plan at the WDC office on Queen Street, Te Kuiti, or the Library on Taupiri Street.
