Council adopts its fees and charges for 2021/22

1 Jul 2021, 12:35 PM

On Tuesday 29 June 2021, Council adopted the fees and charges for 2021/22 after completing the consultation process with the community between 21 April and 21 May 2021. These fees and charges apply from 1 July 2021.
Council’s Revenue and Financing Policy provides information on various funding sources and the rationale for how we use each funding source. Typically, where a service or activity benefits an individual customer (eg. a dog registration benefits an individual dog owner), Council will apply a fee to cover the cost of delivering that service.
The majority of these fees remain unchanged. But some changes have been made to the fees and charges of the following activities:

• Animal and Dog Control
• Environment Health and Alcohol Licensing
• Community Services
• Community Development
• Corporate Services
• Assets
The schedule of Fees and Charges will be available here (PDF 487 KB)
You can request a hardcopy of the fees and charges by contacting our Customer Services Team on 0800 932 4357 or email info@waitomo. govt.nz
