CUSTOMER SERVICES || Our Queen Street office and Te Kuiti i-SITE will open to the public at 9am Wednesday 17 November 2021.

Opening hours are 9am to 4pm.  WDC Customer Services remain available 24/7 by email: [email protected]  or by calling: 0800 932 4357.

All of WDC's customer services functions are also available at the Te Kuiti i-SITE. Feel free to visit our friendly customer services representatives at the i-SITE on Rora Street.

It will be mandatory for you to wear a face covering; scan in with the NZ Covid Tracer App or manually sign in; and observe the 2m distancing rule. This could potentially restrict the amount of people we allow into our buildings during busy periods.

 

WAITOMO DISTRICT LIBRARY || Opening hours are 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. 

It will be mandatory for you to wear a face covering; scan in with the NZ Covid Tracer App or manually sign in; and observe the 2m distancing rule. This could potentially restrict the amount of people we allow into the library during busy periods.

Our online services are still available to our customers, including downloadable e-books/e-audiobooks and our Epic database.

WAITOMO DISTRICT AQUATIC CENTRE || Our pool will open to the public on Wednesday 17 November 2021, and will operate under normal opening hours. Please visit our website to see more information.

 

PUBLIC TOILETS || All public toilets are open under Level 2. Please adhere to the 2m physical distancing rules.

 

PLAYGROUNDS || All playgrounds are open. Please adhere to the 2m physical distancing rules.

 

LANDFILL AND TRANSFER STATIONS || Te Kuiti Landfill transfer station will be open for all general waste from Wednesday 17 November 2021. Hours will be from 9am to 3pm. Under Level 2, the landfill will only operate Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Maniaiti/Benneydale Transfer Station will only be open on Sundays from 9am to 1pm.

Piopio Transfer Station will only be open Mondays and Sundays.

The rest of our rural transfer stations will revert back to normal operating days and hours.

Sunday – open 9am - 1pm. All waste and recycling accepted.

Closed all other days.

 

KINOHAKU:

Monday – open 9am - 1pm. All waste and recycling accepted

Sunday – open 12pm - 4pm. All waste and recycling accepted.

Closed all other days.

 

MAROKOPA:

Monday – open 9am - 1pm. All waste and recycling accepted

Friday - open 9am-1pm. All waste and recycling accepted

Saturday – open 8am-12pm. All waste and recycling accepted

Sunday – open 10am-2pm. All waste and recycling accepted

AWAKINO:

Sunday – open 12pm - 4pm. All waste and recycling accepted. Closed all other days.
