Join us to celebrate Te Whitu o Matariki.
Matariki is the 7 Star cluster that appears in the heavens around the Winter solstice indicating the Maori New Year.
Te Whitu o Matariki is a celebration of unity and the growth of traditional knowledge through a series of activities that will take place during the month of June.
- 22 June 2022 at 5am - Ceremony at Centennial Park, Te Kūiti
- 24 June 2022 from 12pm-4pm - Maniapoto Munchfest, brought to you by Maara Kai Roopu - Maniapoto
