CONSULTATION ON REVIEW OF RATES REMISSION POLICY

We are seeking feedback on proposed changes to our Rates Remission Policy. The policy has been updated to align with the requirements of the Local Government (Rating of Whenua Māori) Amendment Act 2021, we have summarised the proposed changes in our Statement of Proposal document.

Consultation starts on Wednesday 30 March 2022 and closes at 5pm Friday 3 May 2022.

Hearings are scheduled for 12 May 2022. If you wish to present your submission in person please make sure you tell us if you wish to be heard.
